This is a fun post...
I grew up with chickens and one of my favorite things as a kid was to go check for eggs. It was like Christmas every day. Eggs just appeared.
Now we have two hens...Blanche and Flo. They both have their own personalities...Flo is super friendly and will tolerate being held for as long as I want to hold her...Blanche is very playful and will even chase our dog. It's pretty funny to watch.
Even though I'm not a kid anymore I still love heading out to the coop to see if Blanche and Flo have laid their eggs. There is nothing like super yummy free-range eggs.
Here are the ladies...

and their fabulous eggs!

I love the chicken pictures. I have the hardest time taking good chicken photos. It's like they've left you a little gift every time you find an egg, huh?
(05.19.09 @ 09:39 AM)Erin - This is great!! Everytime I see you I'll always think of Blanche and Flo! LOL! Our neighbor's chickens aren't nearly as photogenic - then again, maybe it's just your talent...
