I have finally gone through my photos from our trip to Grenada last month.  It was so nice to be back on the island.  My husband attended school in Grenada and St. Vincent from 2001-2003.  At the time it was a huge culture shock but once we got use to it we didn't want to leave.

During our trip we easily settled into our previous life on the island...enjoying surfing at Prickly Point, lounging on Grand Anse Beach, Hashing, and we even visited the nutmeg factory in Gouyave

Good for you for doing so much personal photography! These make me want to go down there. Are those coffee beans being processed in some of those shots?

Thanks for your comment Michael.
Grenada is an amazing island! What you see is nutmeg. Grenada was the second largest exporter of nutmeg behind Indonesia until hurricane Ivan destroyed about 90% of the nutmeg crops in 2004. The crops are slowly maturing again but it'll take another 10 years to get the harvest back to where it use to be.
